Who We Are-
The LSBID is the state regulatory board for Registered Interior Designers in Louisiana. We are not a testing agency or a professional association for interior designers, however close ties are maintained with those entities to better serve our design community.
The purpose of this site is to exchange information and resources with Louisiana's Interior Design community. We believe that those who practice or work with this profession will find this website of great value.
The LSBID strives to better serve the public as well as the profession and we welcome your feedback in this regard.

Our Mission-
Our mission is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public in interior environments by regulating the practice of interior design and the use of the title "Interior Designers"; utilization of the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications’ (NCIDQ) examination; and providing continuing education for Registered Interior Designers.
